Crown Worldwide Group signs 3 Year Exclusive with Teacrate

Teacrate, the UK’s leading crate rental specialist, has received a 3-year commitment from Crown Relocations and Crown Records Management for crate supply services.
Teacrate will supply its full range of crates to support Crown’s business services operations on a UK wide basis. Teacrate’s national fleet of vehicles will supply crates as required from each of its 8 strategically located service centres. Stock holding at the centres ensures product availability and speed of delivery with next day delivery as standard.
Crown Worldwide Group is a worldwide leader of global mobility, relocation services, information management and high value logistics. Steve Durbin, Purchasing Manager with Crown says, “We selected Teacrate as our exclusive crate supplier because of the logistical synergies between their national network of depots and our own locations. Every crate supplied by Teacrate arrives spotlessly clean and ready to pack.
A key factor in Crown’s decision to appoint Teacrate was ‘Cratelink’ the 24-hour online crate management system, which allows them a direct interface with Teacrate’s system for real time tracking of orders. In just a few clicks Crown’s staff can place or amend a crate order via ‘Cratelink’ and specify or change collection and delivery details. ‘Cratelink’ adds another dimension to the service offered by Teacrate to its commercial moves customers, in particular, a higher level of flexibility and responsiveness.
