phs Teacrate have developed a new technology which delivers even more efficient crate control to businesses than ever before. This is part of ongoing plans to improve the information and feedback provided to its clients to allow better crate management. This is done by our barcoding system which is monitored by a free application downloaded onto your smartphone.
The barcode gives the crate its own unique identity which is scanned to provide important tracking information, reducing stock loss, whilst highlighting potential bottlenecks. This helps overcome the perceived anonymity involving unmarked delivery crates. The barcoded crates are delivered, scanned and recorded. An inventory is attached to the barcode once delivered on site. This gives complete visibility of where any crate is located.
The tracking and traceability of the crates is made easier for Facility Managers and removal companies due to the unique smartphone application. The app will provide further traceability to complement internal procedures, allowing managers to work from any department or site whilst being able to locate their crates. Once the app is downloaded, the app is tailored to suit the company’s specific requirements.
phs Teacrate handles around 25 million crates every year in a variety of dimensions and sectors. Operating our own fleet of vehicles from eight depots, we are committed to ensuring that we deliver fast and reliable deliveries, keeping us at the forefront of the industry.
