Every industry needs a guiding hand – somewhere to go when advice is needed, somewhere to share ideas and somewhere to help celebrate achievements. The removals industry is lucky to have the British Association of Removers to fill this role.
And to further assist its members, BAR’s Commercial Moving Group provides support to removal companies working to relocate businesses, often in challenging situations. With such dedication required, it’s good to have the opportunity to gather members and industry leaders together in one place – the Annual CMG Seminar Event. This year, it’s held at Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Birmingham on Wednesday, 9th – 10th October.
phs Teacrate’s links with the British Association of Removers and its members are longstanding. As a crates and handling equipment supplier to many CMG firms, phs Teacrate has often been told that we have contributed in no small part to numerous successes along the way. So, we’re proud and excited to be sponsoring this year’s event and we’re expecting anyone who is anyone in the commercial removals industry to be there.
Because the industry can be challenging at times, this annual event provides opportunity for some (competitive) fun and socialising, as well as getting down to the business of sharing industry news and networking. There’ll be something for everyone.
We’ll be getting a BAR update from the association’s forward-thinking Director General, Ian Studd. And if you want to know what it takes to clinch the coveted title of Commercial Mover of the Year, Bill Tiernan will be telling us how the committed team at Ede’s has managed to pull off the title an amazing seven times!
There’ll also be equipment demonstrations and marketing advice with the mystic art of Social Media management being a hot topic. You can also expect presentations from a couple of FM stakeholders, along with lunch and entertainment. All in all, a day not to be missed.
Have you got your ticket? With just weeks to go until the event, you’d better move fast to secure your place. Colleagues and partners of CMG members are welcome to attend all or part of the event (with accommodation also available). Register for tickets here.
